Templar Chapter No. 374 is a chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star — the largest fraternal organization in the world open to both women and men. We gather to serve our community, honor timeless values, and share genuine friendship.

The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal organization based on the teachings of the Bible, open to women and men of every walk of life who share a belief in a Supreme Being. Its lessons of brotherly love, relief, and truth are illustrated through the examples of five faithful women of Scripture — a heritage of quiet strength, devotion, and kindness that still guides our chapter today.
Charity
We answer need with generosity — supporting scholarships, benevolent aid, and community causes close to home.
Truth
We hold ourselves to honesty, integrity, and constancy — in our friendships, our work, and our word.
Loving-Kindness
We create a warm, accepting home where members and their families are welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Adah
The daughter of Jephthah — honored for her devotion to duty and the binding power of a promise.
Ruth
The loyal widow whose steadfast constancy shows the worth of faithful, humble service.
Esther
The queen who risked all for her people — an example of fidelity to family and friends.
Martha
The sister of Lazarus whose trust in God held firm even in the face of grief and loss.
Electa
The "elect lady" remembered for her hospitality and love, faithful even under persecution.

We meet on the second Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM at the historic Roy Stanley Masonic Lodge in East Dallas. Reach out ahead of your visit and we will make sure someone is there to greet you.
